Process Plant

OMB Forged Steel Valves division manufactures gate, globe and check valves for the hydrocarbons and chemical processing plants. Oil and Gas Production

OMB Forged Steel Valves division supplies a complete range of integral flanged ends valves and specialty products which are mainly used in the offshore and on-shore oil and gas production sites. With more than 20 year experience in supplying valves for the demanding fields of the North Sea, the Middle East, South East Asia as well as the Gulf, OMB offers a complete range of solutions for the most severe application.

Power and General Industry

OMB Forged Steel Valves division offers superior product and service to the power industry, the steam raising plants and the applications of valves in all the other industries; fine chemical, pharmaceuticals and food processing, air and special gas production, resins and pulp and paper. With industry specific products as well as customized designed OMB offers a solution for any problem related to the control and safety of operation involving any type of air, gas, steam, vapor and liquid.

Special Applications

Within the standard production, OMB was able to meet the wide requirements of the industries, which it serve. Gearing its engineering and manufacturing departments to meet the fast response demands of the oil and gas, power and general industries, OMB has proven its capacity on supplying special design valves. The company trained and experienced engineering staff has developed a considerable lead in solving with innovative solutions the problems on process plat of all types.

OMB Fluicon Division

The products of this newly created division are designed and manufactured for duties in the petrochemical, oil-gas and power industries. OMB ball valves are designed, tested and certified for fire safe operation, with test witnessed by third party inspection body. OMB FLUICON Division.

Valve Construction and Design

OMB valves are available according to the most relevant construction standard: API602, ANSI B16.34, MSS-SP84, BS 5352, DIN3202.

Presure Class and End to End Dimensions
OMB manufacture valves in pressure class 800/1500/2500/ and 4500 in socket weld, threaded or butt weld ends with OMB end-to-end dimensions. Intergal flanged ends valves are manufactured in pressure class 150/300/600/1500 and 2500 with end-to-end dimension according ANSI B16.5 and B16.10 Integral flanged ends valves are available as well in PN25/40 according to DIN 3202.

Bolted Bonnet - with a retained spiral gasket

Port Size
OMB valves are available in two types:
Regular (or reduced) port:
Gate value according to API602 AND BS5352, Globe and Check according to BS5352
Full (or standard) Port
Gate, Globe and Check according to BS5352

Flow Coefficient Data
OMB laboratory has developed and operates a specific test bench to evaluate CV of each design. Test reports and values are available on request, standard products results are published on OMB products catalogue.

Marking and Identification
OMB valves are indentified with nameplate and markings on forged components (body and bonnet) according MSS-SP25. Information supplied by the nameplate includes size, pressure class rating, body/bonnet material, trim composition, construction standards and OMB figure number. Customer identification codes can be added on the nameplate or on added on tag (supplied to customers specification). Forged components are embossed with material identification code (as per ASTM standard), size and class, arrows for unidirectional valves (globe and check valves), heat code for material tracebility.
